training
Geeding Construction is commited to training. We believe expertly trained, highly skilled employees provide the highest-quality services to our customers.

A formal training program is designed specifically for each employee, specific to their individual job assignments and expected tasks.

Upon hire, the employee goes through a rigorous training program that includes: successful completion, with passing scores, of both the NCCER Abnormal Operating Conditions and Pipeline Maintenance Technician Assessment. All new hires must also successfully complete all required performance verifications, and complete an on-the-job training session with an experienced professional at Geeding Construction prior to receipt of additional performance verifications.

Geeding Construction also may utilize Veriforce training and other training dependent on customer requirements.

Training Facility
To aid in the Performance Verification training, we have built an 8” pipeline mock-up complete with a launcher; receiver; line locating; valves to create a leak and isolate the leak; pipe casing and insulators; cathodic protection; rectifier; manifold; tank farm with a cone lid and a floating lid; flange bolt-up station; excavation station; trench box station; coating station; sandblasting station; confined space; and HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training.

Geeding Construction’s team of qualified safety personnel is also proud to extend training services to other companies.  Our trainers are certified and work one-on-one with your employees.
